I have practiced law for over 12 years, beginning my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit.
In 2009, I opened my law practice in Ringgold, Georgia. Since then, I have assisted clients in many types of legal matters including felony and misdemeanor criminal matters, divorce and custody actions, juvenile court and DUI and traffic matters.
Over time I have developed a reputation for fighting hard for my clients as well as treating them with care and respect. The issues that lead you to need legal assistance are often stressful and the legal system is unfamiliar and complex. You deserve to understand and participate in the process with confidence.
I am a lifelong Georgia resident. I enlisted in the U.S. Navy after graduating from McEachern High School, serving on board the USS John F. Kennedy from 1993 to 1997. After completing my military service, I attended University of Georgia and received Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2001. While at the University of Georgia, I met my wife, Leanna, who was in graduate school studying Child and Family Development at the time. I graduated from the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University in 2006.
Ringgold is now my home and my family has become deeply connected to this community. My family and I attend Covenant Presbyterian Church in East Brainerd, where I serve as a Deacon. When I'm not practicing law, I enjoy playing golf, picking the banjo, and all sorts of farm chores including raising goats and chickens and harvesting honey from our bee hives.
